Proactive Management Options includes pre arrival cleaning.
- Pre-arrival Clean:Cleaning all hull and niche areas within 30 days before arriving in Australian territory.

Pre-Arrival Reporting:
- Reporting includes 12-month voyage history and details of inspections, cleaning that show the hull and niche areas. 
- Vessels must submit information regarding their biofouling management practices via the Maritime Arrivals Reporting System (MARS) prior to arriving in Australian waters.
